New Construction

After finding a builder and a lot, the deal needs to be written up. It is usually a pretty long and detailed process making sure all interior selections, front elevations, landscaping design and any changes are signed off and calculated to the final price. It also means going to multiple meetings with designers, and finalizing blueprints.

Then the actual build begins. Permits are submitted, lot gets grubbed and excavated, foundation poured, lumber pack delivered and the framers start going to town. Things get exciting. I visit the site every Sunday to walk the house and make sure it is progressing in a timely manner and to double check if your customizations are not missed.
